SF recruitment are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Category Manager to join a dynamic procurement team in a fast-paced, engineering-focused environment on an interim basis. To be considered for this role it is essential you have previous Category Manager experience and must be available immediately or on a short notice.
The Role:
You'll support the development and delivery of category strategies across key procurement areas. From managing supplier relationships to handling end-to-end procurement processes, you'll help drive cost efficiencies, improve quality, and ensure strong commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
-Deliver procurement strategies aligned with business goals
-Manage full procurement lifecycle (RFP to supplier performance)
-Collaborate with internal teams on sourcing, warranties, and supplier issues
-Track and report supplier KPIs and escalate where needed
-Support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives
-Contribute to wider business planning and budgeting
What We're Looking For:
-Extensive Category Management experience
-Strong knowledge of ERP systems
-Commercially aware with strong negotiation and supplier management skills
-Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational abilities
