Finance Manager

SF Group are excited to be working with a business based in North Birmingham on their search for a Finance Manager.

Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Birmingham

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the finance function while working closely with and supporting the Finance Director to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the production of group financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end consolidation processes
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions
- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and senior stakeholders
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function
- Lead ERP system improvements to enhance reporting, automation, and data accuracy

The Successful Applicant:

- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally with consolidation experience
- Previous experience in a multi-entity business or group finance role
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail
- Experience in ERP system improvements and implementation is a strong advantage
