Property Accountant

SF Recruitment are looking for a Property Accountant on a permanent basis for a fantastic client of ours based in Birmingham.

This an exciting role for an individual who is a technical accountant with strong experience in the Property sector. My client welcomes qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience candidates. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in an fast paced environment.

Duties include:

Property accounts, including rates, rents and service charge
Fixed asset accounting and reporting
Management of asset registers
Lease accounting in line with IFRS 16
Depreciation calculations and journal postings
Month-end reporting support
Balance sheet reconciliations
Liaising with auditors and stakeholders on asset-related queries
