Management Accountant

SF Partners are working alongside a well-established and growing business operating internationallywho are looking to recruit a hands-on Management Accountant to join its finance team based in Warwick.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied accounting role with responsibility across management accounts, reporting, payroll, VAT and team supervision. The business operates across the UK and European markets, offering exposure to multi-entity and multi-currency accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for an overseas entity
• Producing financial schedules, commentary and supporting reports
• Month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analysing and manipulating financial data for reporting purposes
• Maintaining spreadsheets, reports and finance databases
• Overseeing reconciliation of multiple bank accounts across currencies
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions
• Monitoring stock movements between entities and tax locations
• Supporting statutory reporting requirements
• Processing monthly payroll and maintaining employee records
• Reviewing company credit card reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems and streamline processes
• Supervising two junior finance team members
• Providing support to non-finance departments where required

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a finance role such as Assistant Accountant, Finance Analyst or Management Accountant
• Strong Excel skills including pivots, lookups and data analysis
• Good understanding of accounting principles and controls
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to work across departments
