The Opportunity
An established and growing HVAC specialist is looking to recruit a dependable and experienced Air Conditioning FGAS Engineer to support a strong pipeline of contracted work. This is a field-based role focused primarily on planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across commercial sites, with additional reactive and breakdown work as required. Work is consistently scheduled in advance, offering stability, structure, and a clear view of your upcoming workload.

Due to continued growth and a high volume of secured contracts, there is guaranteed work and long-term opportunity within a supportive and well-organised team.

The Role
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems
- Attending reactive breakdowns and fault-finding when required
- Servicing and maintaining a range of AC systems (predominantly F-Gas related)
- Completing all works in line with health & safety standards
- Updating job reports via PDA/mobile system
- Delivering a high level of customer service on client sites

Work is typically scheduled one week in advance, with clear daily planning and realistic time allocation.

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4-5 years' experience in engineering
- F-Gas certification (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A reliable, self-sufficient engineer who is comfortable working independently
- Willingness to travel within your region (with very occasional wider travel if required)

What's on Offer
- £35,000 - £42,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- Overtime available (optional and discussed, not enforced)
- Company vehicle + fuel card
- Company credit card for expenses
- Private healthcare
- Pension scheme
- Ongoing training and development
- Structured workload with strong job security
- Support from an experienced Service Manager (ex-engineer)

Working Pattern
- 8 hours days (flexible start/finish depending on workload)
- Travel time is factored into your working day
- Minimal requirement to attend head office
- Work allocated and managed via PDA system

This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer who prefers structured, consistent work over constant firefighting. With a strong base of long-term contracts and a growing client portfolio, this role offers stability, autonomy, and ongoing support - without unnecessary pressure.

If you're an experienced AC/FGAS Engineer looking for a secure role with a growing business and a steady pipeline of work, apply today with your CV.
